I have missed Mish Mash Monday, didn't post in time to be a part of Blooming Tuesday-so I am going for Wordless Wednesday. But you know me, I'm not too wordless!

Cornflower? I have not seen it before. Very nice bloom. :)
Pretty and colorful flowers :)
Love them! Happy WW!
Those are such pretty tulips!
Beautiful...I can almost smell them from here!! Happy WW:)
What lovely flowers! Excellent capture.
pretty flowers, I always enjoy visits to your yard via my computer.
Absolutely gorgeous! Those tulips look like peonies! So full and pretty. Love the poppy at the top of the post. I really like cornflowers, will have to grow some, the color is just great!
Lovely blooms Beckie. Looks like the ants are enjoying the cornflower too!
Hi Beckie, I love the orange poppy; I love true orange flowers (as opposed to yellowy orange or reddish orange flowers, although I love them, too!), especially next to purple. I hope your job is going well. I've missed your comments and posts, but understand the demands of working full time. Truly I do! Looking forward to meeting you and Rose at SF. BTW, I'm doing the name tags. Your name was given to me as Rebecca, but I used Beckie. S'alright?
Hi Beckie, hasn't this been the best year for tulips? Mine have been blooming for weeks. Good thing too because everything else is late here. Your Angelique is perfect. Have to get more this fall to add to my gardens.
Marnie
Hi Beckie....the tulips angelique are lovely....I loved them when Rose showed them on her blog.....I think I am going to have to plant some in the autumn.....
Love M i L poppies as well.....but then I am a poppy fan.....I have planted a lot more this year.....
Cornflowers are pretty and I like the little ants having a stroll on the bloom.....
Hope you are well and happy.......
Is that a tiny bee on the Cornflower? I love the delicate beauty of Poppies and double Tulips. Not that I grow any, but I do admire them.
Oh, don't put any more pressure on me! If it doesn't stop raining one of these days, I'm going to be leaving behind a patio full of unplanted flowers:)
Your photos are gorgeous, Beckie. Of course, you know I'm partial to the Angeliques, but the poppy and cornflower are equally beautiful. I do hope the ants can't hurt them.
Oh Beckie! Your flowers are beautiful! And I love your pics. Did you get a new camera? I don't remember, but I think a few of you garden bloggers did. Well, whether you did or not, I think the pics are so clear and the macro shot is awesome. Will need to upgrade my camera one of these days.
Enjoy your garden. The best is still to come!
Hugs
Thank you Beckie...I am having a wonderful time in the garden...Love the cornflower and friends capture! Very nice...Angelique is a beauty...(must add to the ever growing list since she has stopped blooming well in the garden). See you soon! gail
Beautiful blooms Beckie! Are those ants on the Cornflower? I'll have to look at it again. ;)
Such beautiful tulips Beckie. There weren't any tulips still blooming when I left home Monday. I love the one you are showing us. I bet my poppies are blooming without me too. Booooo. See you soon.
Was the Poppy really paper? It is beautiful! Your macro shots are amazing!
I know you are looking forward to the Spring Fling--it sounds like a wonderful time.
Love the tulips!!
Dora, cornflower or bachelor's button. Either way they are so pretty.
Joanne, thank you very much!
Robin, glad you like them. :)
Lori, oh for smell-a-computer!
One Red Horse, I love the name!
Beth, I'm glad you enjoy my gardens. Maybe some day you will see them in person.
Janet, I am going to plant more of these tulips. They are a litle later, but stay in bloom much longer.
Susie, I didn't even see the ants til I downloaded the pictures. :)
Monica, I'd love to get these to grow in my gardens and I would put purple next to them! I have sooo missed reading, commenting and posting. Am just going to have to find a way to do more.
The name tags sound like a great idea. Beckie is just fine-can't wait to meet you too!
Marnie, the first tulips went really quickly when we had that warm spell, but the later ones have stayed so nice. You will love the Angeliques!
Cheryl, Rose and I were together when we saw and bought the Angeliques-fell in love with them. I just sowed some of the poppt seed you sent. I so hope they grow.
I am doing fairly well. Just not used to not having enough time to do all the fun things I want.:)
MMD, I see ants, but you may be right about the tiny bee. I love tulips-to mee they shout spring!
Rose, we did good buying those Angeliques, didn't we?! I think the ants must help pollenate the cornflowers, sort of like they do the peonies.
Wendy, so glad you like the blooms. I did get a new camera a few months ago after losing my other one. I especially wanted one where I could take super macro photos. I love it!
Gail, that's one of the dangers of blogging. Plant envy! Am looking forward to meeting and spending some gardening time with you.
Racquel, yes those are ants. I didn't see them til I downloaded the pictures. The things you can see with suoer macro!
Lisa, I hope you got to enjoy your poppies before the rains. You will have to tell me the secret to getting them to grow. :)
MG, no it's a real flower. These poppies always remind me of the ones we used to make out of crepe paper. I am looking forward to Spring Fling and will try to share when we get back.
Laurie and Chris, thank you!!
Love your new header picture Beckie! Lilacs, ah yes, the sweet smell. That is one thing the north has on us here in the south. Can't believe how pretty your tulips are!
I'm so impressed by your stunning macro photos, Beckie, and love your header! You are ahead of me ... my oriental poppies have yet to bloom and usually don't till the end of May. But my cornflowers are popping and the garden is bursting with color. Between running the infirmary here, running back and forth to doctors & lake, tending the garden, and entertaining in my soft ankle cast, I'm a bit ferclemped :) Have a wonderful time in Chicago!
Gorgeous shots Beckie. That new camera is really paying off. I sure hope you do have a cardinal pair nesting in your tree ~ that would be exciting?! Happy Memorial Day weekend to you and your family.
