I agree! I have plants to put in the ground, vegetable seeds to plant, the new garden to be tilled up....I hope it dries out soon! My roadside tulips were standing in an inch of water this morning.
Beautiful shots, Beckie--you really captured what the last few days have looked like here.
So much rain and clouds this week, but I am loving it and am glad you got some too. I am not looking forward to this summer-when it is likely we won't have any.
Your dark ominous clouds are dark and ominous. A great series of photos for Skywatch Friday! We are having serious thunderboomers and solid gray clouds! Have a sweet weekend Beckie! gail
Hi Beckie, we've had a lot of rain here as well, plus lightning and strong winds. But it really does give everything a great start, especially trees and shrubs. Nice gloomy photos!
Do you ever feel like you're stuck in a feedback loop or are suffering from deja vu? This makes the third very wet spring in a row. Not that I'm complaining, but I would like the soil to be workable long enough to get some things into the ground.
Beckie, your header is heavenly! I can just smell those Lilac! Hmmmmmm! We have had the same dark clouds and rain. I am not complaining, come August, it still won't be enough!
Becky your world and mine are about the same..big billowy clouds filled w/ rain! Your photos are wonderful! Welcome to SWF! I don't remember seeing here you before but if I missed you ...here I am! :)NG
Hi to all! Thank you so much for all your comments. I have to laugh at myself for always checking out the skies to see if there are any Sky Watch worth pictures. :) Hopefully, in the next few days we will have nothing but blue skies and sun for a while so I can get back out to the gardens.
I could use some showers in my garden right now. We're expecting some rain all week. Great shots Beckie, but I'm hoping for lots of rain this month to help us through the summer months. :)
Whoa, those are ominous skies for sure. Really dark and slightly scary! (can you tell we don't get thunderstorms all that much?!!) At least you won't have to water, right?

Wonderful storm shots. Nice captures! Stormy here tonight, for what it's worth!
Nice coverage. Sounds like April was all gloomy and dark. A great way to summarized the month. :D

I believe those are the same clouds that have been around here. Ha... I hope you dry out soon. Love those pictures.

As long as there wasn't a late season freeze, looks like May flowers will be plentiful.
