Sky Watch Friday

Close to sunset with the sun shinning over an oncoming cloud bank. I loved the starkness of the bare trees against the warm pinkish tone of the sky.

Same sunset, just a little different angle. I like the fluffy cotton-ball clouds in the foreground with the ominous looking solid cloud bank in the back.

Have a great weekend!

Ha, I love the description of "cotton ball clouds". Hope the solid clouds in the back didn't bring any white stuff with them:)

Flydragon, no thankfully is just brought a very cold rain. Brrr!

Cheryl, thanks. I have been trying to take the time to enjoy the sky. I think sky watch has made me be more aware, just as you helped be be more aware of the bees and buggies.

I've been meaning to let people know about the 'rash'.Slowly it is doing better. A lot of the red scaly areas are gone. I still have some-mostly on my fave and in my hair. But those are getting better too. Dr. thinks another 3 mos. or so. But the itching is almost all gone!! :} The rest I can live with for a while. Still taking meds. :{ Thanks for asking.

Marnie, the photo is a little dark, but I really like the light behind the trees.

Susie, we've always called those clouds cotton balls. I think that's what my Mom called them. :}

Joey, Thanks! I don't know about best friends :} but we are getting to know each other.

Racquel, thank you. Those clouds look like they were palced there in the sky very carfully don't they?

I too love the cotton ball description. Makes me want to reach up and pluck a cotton ball from the sky. LOL!
It does look like you are enjoying your new camera. Now let's just have some nice warm weather too!

I am happy your skin is clearing up. It's been a long long time.

Gorgeous! I love sky pictures.
When I was a girl my mom and sisters and I used to lay on a blanket on the lawn and watch the clouds.
It was fun to 'find the critters' in them. It's a blessed memory now.

Thanks Gail, I am enjoying the new things I can do with the camera. It's finding all the settings that's the problem. :}

Monica, thank you!

Rose, can't wait to take the camera to the flower show.

Garden Girl, so glad you like the photos.

Wendy, My Mom used to call them cotton balls. Yes, the rash is clearing some. Still a ways to go, but it's much more livable now.

Sue, happy to share the sky photos !

Hi Beckie,
Very nice sky photos. The sky and all its magnificence is ever changing. I could just stare at it for hours (if I had the time) and somehow my photos never totally capture the beauty of them.

Well done.
